I ♥ Jenifer Altmen

Whilst in Urban Outfitters today I found these and I fell in love.

A collection of cute and dreamy Polaroid note cards by photographer Jenifer Altman. There almost too pretty to give away.

This led me to research her a bit more. Her images are amazing and she is apparently an internationally acclaimed Polaroid photographer. I can see why.

She's well worth taking a look at http://www.jeniferaltman.com/

My current favorites being la dolce luce.

As it's vintage does that make it okay?

I was brought up with several stuffed birds in cases like this, a stuffed lizard and the most majestic stags head aptly named Angus after my Granda.

With this in mind it really is no surprise that taxidermy genuinely fascinates me.

After several years of careful consideration (and I'm sure several more) I'm having strong pulls towards either a bird or a white rabbit. However if a stag head was to come my way I wouldn't be able to resist...

Also I really want a red fox stole... oh my god I'm obsessed!

Oh My! That does sound familiar...

Sometimes covers are horrid. Sometime they are great. Sometimes they make you love a song more. Sometime they make you hate it more. Here are a few I like:

Wild Horses covered by The Sundays, originally by The Rolling Stones.

Hand On Your Heart covered by José Gonsalez, originally by Kylie Minogue

Roscoe covered by Ellie Goulding, originally by Midlake

Dub Be Good To Me covered by Jack Peñate, originally by Beats International

Postcards From Italy covered by Florence and the Machine, originally by Beirut

and to mix it up a bit Hound dog originally by Big Mama Thornton ft. Buddy Guy, covered by Elvis Presley
