"Now, take me to your leader. Or, lead me to your taker. "

From a young age I have been a major fan of The Avengers.

I must however clarify from the start that I am a fan of the original cast aka Patrick Macnee and Diana Rigg. I never could stand that silly Linda Thorson or anyone else that followed in her footsteps. It just never felt right. The chemistry had gone.

I would watch re-runs constantly on Bravo and I'm pretty sure I was the only one of my age doing this! Perhaps this is where I get my extreme Britishness from?

I'm not sure how old I was (maybe about 9-10) but one year for my birthday, I was given two fish, my first proper pets, I named them Emma and Steed. Steed only had one eye but seemed to live as happy a life a goldfish can have.

One of my favourite episodes was 'The House That Jack Built', but, I truly do love them all.

Hmm searching for pictures of has really made me want a bowler hat.

By the kilo...

Channeling my inner Oliver, I've been baking a lot of late.

Hardly surprising I look more at the pictures rather then the actual recipes.

Somewhat alarmingly I've found myself really loving a photo of a dead rabbit in one of his books.

In light of my new hobby I felt inspired to take some of my own foodie photos, so here is my first batch.

Fresh from the South bank market.

Jurassic Park

Soo excited about my latest purchase.

True I am not a 7 year old boy.

But dinosaurs are cool so I don't care!

Why what big shoulders you have...

"That's a rather glitzy top your wearing Lauren. Are you going out this evening?"

"No, it's a Friday so I thought I would wear shoulder pads."

I didn't add because I'm currently addicted to them Ala Dynasty.

And that to be honest the bigger the better!

(I am wearing said jumper with accompanying spads in this picture)

Time for Tea

From this day onwards I will only drink tea from a china cup and saucer.
