Stating hes always had a fascination with abandoned buildings, Ference has spent over a decade exploring and photographing America's derelict institutions.
Ference's most recent piece of work has been to document North Brother, an Island in New York, which was originally used as a leper colony in 1885. For a peak at these as well as some interesting background on the island check out this article.
